Speaking to the SA Jewish Report on the sidelines of the World Jewish Congress National Community Directors’ Forum, he spoke of an interest in Jewish heritage on the part of the government and non-Jewish Lithuanians and the fact that local Litvaks, custodians of that heritage, could make a meaningful contribution in this regard.
