Kayla Symanowitz, an 11-year-old learner from King David Sandton, entered the competition online. Out of all the entrants countrywide, she was shortlisted as one of eight primary school learners to compete. There were two primary school episodes, each with four learners.

In Kayla’s episode on December 11, the three learners she competed against were aged nine, 10 and 13. Kayla came first overall and won R10 000 for King David Sandton, plus R10 000 for herself.

King David Sandton is very proud of Kayla’s achievement.
