    Aug 17, 2016 Go comment!
Want to understand love? Look to army veterans and rats. The parsha for this week - Nachamu Va’etchanan - tells us to love G-d. How can you be commanded to love someone, and especially to love G-d? You can’t see or touch G-d, so love G-d?

A prophecy that’s hard to swallow

    Jul 20, 2016 Go comment!
There is something about Bilam’s prophetic status that’s hard to swallow. How does a person get so close to G-d as to reach the level of prophecy and yet be lumbered with the ignominious title of rasha - “wicked”?

    The most underrated quality

As I gazed at my grandson on my knees, about to be brought into Abraham’s covenant with G-d, a multitude of thoughts flew in and out of my mind.
