    Last Sunday evening at Beyachad in Johannesburg, a capacity crowd joined the ambassadors of the Russian Federation and of Israel in commemorating the crucial role played by the Soviet army in achieving victory and the liberation of the concentration camps 70 years ago.

    Dani Hovsha is new SAUJS national chairman

    The South African Union of Jewish Students (SAUJS) has elected a new national committee for the remainder of 2015 and 2016. Dani Hovsha, pictured, who has been on the committee twice previously (last year as the vice-chairman), is looking forward to the challenge which has been handed to her. She says she is ready to lead South Africa’s Jewish students.
