Jewish unity and mutual respect is paramount. Our magnificent prayer for peace, emphasises this: “Establish peace, goodness, blessing, graciousness, kindness, and compassion upon us and upon all of Your people Israel. Bless us, our Father, all of us as one, with the light of Your countenance…”

Geoff has tried to steer “all of us as one” in spite of enormous challenges. May he, the new editor, the SA Jewish Report and our whole South African Jewish community, go forward with a “love of kindness, righteousness, blessing, compassion, life and peace” now and always.
