Happy Absa Achievers opening video

The opening video for the 16th Absa Jewish Achiever Awards, which was roundly complimented for being the best ever, really was a crowd stopper. The short video was planned as a surprise by Achievers Chairman Howard Sackstein and businesswoman Dina Diamond. WARNING: sit down and have a box of tissues handy because you are going to cry with laughter and if you are standing, you’ll likely end up on the floor.

It starts off like a fair dinkum newscast and then breaks out into a zany, happy video that will long be remembered by all who attended the R3 000-a-plate fundraiser. Pictured is Jewish Report Chairman Howard Feldman doing a double disco number from the video. Watch the two and a half minutes and see how many people you recognise.
