Jayden Krok, pictured, of King David Linksfield, could hardly believe his ears when he heard last week that he had achieved a whopping nine distinctions in his matric exams.
Eighteen-year-old Jayden’s proud mom, Karen Krok, can now boast that her three sons achieved a total of 29 distinctions over the past four years.
Jayden followed in the footsteps of his brothers, Devin and Adam, who each got 10 distinctions when they matriculated at King David Linksfield (KDL) in 2012 and 2014 respectively.

received ten distinctions in 2014.
In 2014, Adam Krok was one of KDL’s top achievers, with 10 distinctions, helping the school to walk off with an impressive 463 distinctions from their 153 pupils who wrote matric in 2014.
147 of those pupils achieved university exemption, with only six not making that grade.
Don’t miss the first 2016 print and ePaper editions of SA Jewish Report next week for the annual supplement listing all the matric results from Jewish day schools around South Africa.

‘Jayden is a brother of mine. I cannot stress enough how hard working, charming, and attractive he is. I am so proud of him and his achievements!’
‘This is really great, 9! 9 is a lot. I really appreciate is a smart, I think being smart (or a smart) is a good trait for personalities, which applies here. Keep on keeping on, Jayden. ‘
