KD bracelets celebrate 70th milestones
King David Linksfield is selling Israel@70 bracelets in honour of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of both Israel and King David Schools this year. The bracelet, comprising a stainless steel decorative disc placed on a simple blue band, is a beautiful symbol of the bond between the school and Israel.
Jewellers donated the first 100 bracelets to the school, and a portion of all the proceeds from the initiative will go to the Lone Soldier Centre in Israel. The centre is a non-profit organisation that assists lone soldiers from the diaspora to integrate into Israeli society.
The bracelets can be purchased for R100 each.
