Long is responsible for oversight and development of the quality of Yeshiva’s educational product, which the Board has prioritised to take the schools forward. His appointment follows a thorough and comprehensive search for the appropriate professional for the role.

Long joins Yeshiva from St John’s College, where he occupied the position of Deputy Headmaster, as well as being responsible for the day to day running of the college.

He spent the past 16 years in various senior positions at St John’s, after being transferred there from Queens High School, where he served in senior positions for 11 years.

Long is a keen sportsman. His extra-mural activities include coaching tennis, cricket, cross-country, and athletics. He also serves on the Board of Pridwin Preparatory School in an educationalist portfolio.
