A camping Shabbaton to remember
The Torah Academy Boys’ High School spent five unforgettable days out in the bush at Camp Seriti, near Bronkhorstspruit. The Shabbaton’s theme was The Power Within You. A spirit of unity and Yiddishkeit were the hallmarks of the trip as each participant was encouraged to delve within and develop their latent talents.
Many hours were spent swimming in the river or pool, hiking in the mountains, enjoying delicious meals and participating in fantastic programmes organised by the Grade 11 class. The boys came home enriched, exhausted and with memories to last a lifetime.
