BDS sexual harassment story has no place on front page

The SA Jewish Report dated 29 March refers. Why give the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement and the sexual harassment charges hanging over the head of its founder such prominence?

Surely there is more Jewish orientated news that would be more worthy of a position on the front page? I think a great error of judgement has occurred here. There can be no justification for this save for possibly gloating at the “enemy’s” misfortune.

If that is the case, it flies in the face of an injunction on us as Jews not to do so. By featuring BDS in so prominent a position, you are feeding into this misguided organisation’s publicity framework. Shame on you!

Unfortunately, BDS-SA and its leadership is relevant to our community, whether we like it or not. It is not about gloating, but simply giving our readers information that is of interest and importance to them. Editor
