Charisse Zeifert responded to the Sowetan on behalf of the SA Jewish Board of Deputies, to the effect that nobody was “stunned” by his approach as the two-state solution is a commonly accepted position.
The person who asked the question later posted a picture of herself with Maimane on her Facebook page, so this is all a storm in a teacup. The DA position on this issue has not changed at all.
