After weeks of collecting Pesach foods at 37 schools, the children came to see the culmination of their efforts.

They brought a parent or two with them to the newly renovated Basil Weinberg dining room at Sandringham Gardens, where they enjoyed a morning of packing boxes as well as engaging in arts and crafts, carnival games, face-painting and educational entertainment.

This annual event grows in popularity every year and provides a wonderful opportunity for families to teach their little ones about caring and sharing.

This year, 650 boxes filled with delicious, kosher-for-Pesach goodies were packed.

Yeshiva College Primary School erected a collection meter to measure the number of items coming in from the children. Their target was 400 and they exceeded that by far with 525 products.
