AJC is hopping mad as Rabbi Riskin inadvertently creates a humanitarian crisis in Africa. This as well as the major brouhaha building up in international Jewish media about the most respected Mizrachi rabbi, Shlomo Riskin, pictured. Libya ‘sought discreet relationship with Israel’

    Jun 01, 2015 Go comment!

This will no doubt have left French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy feeling vindicated after 2011 denials of his exposing the Libyan plan to forge better ties with the Jewish state left a scandal in its wake.

Over-regulation has resulted in “shocking data,” Israel's PM told his Cabinet yesterday. It slipped in international rankings for its business friendliness from 23rd in 2006 to 106th last year. “We are pushing away businesses and initiatives here… producing an atmosphere of regulator after regulator after regulator.” The PM created an organ “to fight this with axes; this will not be.” He promised to rid Israel of over-regulation to “bring about growth… There is no justification for what is happening here,” he said adamantly.
