King David Sandton counts its medals in maths challenge

Students from King David Primary School Sandton achieved remarkable results in the recent Wits Mathematics Challenge.

King David Sandton came eighth in Gauteng in the Middle Primary section (Grades 4 and 5) and ninth overall. In the Senior Primary section (Grades 6 and 7), King David Sandton placed sixth in Gauteng and seventh overall.

Individual medals were awarded to Matt Fanaroff in Grade 5 (who came seventh in Gauteng and eighth overall); Aidan Goralsky in Grade 7 (placed tenth in Gauteng); and Daniel Markman in Grade 7 (who placed third in Gauteng and tenth overall).
