King David Sandton’s new multipurpose court simply sababa

King David Primary School Sandton has unveiled a vibrant new multipurpose court designed to accommodate netball, basketball, futsal, soccer skills, hockey drills, as well as fitness and movement activities.

The court is designed to nurture the whole child – body, mind, and neshama – bringing koach (energy, strength, and movement) to everyday school life.

The school says the space will support physical development, social growth, and well-being by strengthening coordination and endurance, encouraging teamwork and communication, and giving children a place to reset, express joy, and feel a sense of belonging.

The court will be used for physical education lessons, after-school sport, and friendly competitions, and is expected to become a hub for community events such as sports days and family gatherings. As the school puts it, it’s simply “sababa” – a cool, vibrant space where children love to move, play, and feel proud.
