The toiletries were supplied by Special Delivery, a company that provides toiletries, educational supplies, food, cleaning products, and personal care items for charity or corporate-social-investment projects. The packs included soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary pads, razors, deodorant, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, facecloths, body lotion, wipes, and hand wash/sanitiser.

They were packed by corporates throughout Joburg in their 67 minutes of civic duty on Mandela Day. The companies involved were VAT IT, Excel Academy, VMware, African Sales Company, Thirst Bar Services, Spartan Truck Hire, and Lead Republik.

On the day of delivery, the students were told to be at the assembly area at 13:00 for a surprise. Musician Da Les, DJ Double D, and DJ Arch Jnr (the winner of SA’s Got Talent) performed for the students.
