The participants were treated like professionals under the guidance of the full coaching staff of the present SA Proteas under-19 Cricket Team with Lawrence Mahatlane (head coach); Victor Mpitsang (assistant coach); Jono Leafwright (assistantcCoach); and Niels Momberg (manager).

This clinic initiative – run this year for the second time – is to promote cricket in particular and sport in general, for all learners interested in attending Victory Park High School (in 2015, 2016 and 2017) as well as to the Jewish community as a whole.

“It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us cricket players who were invited to attend,” said one of the boys at the clinic.
