Shared or separate buses: Ask commuters themselves

I would like to comment on the Jewish Report editorial of last week, titled “Buses, bloodshed and apartheid”.

I believe the best thing Israel can and should do, is to ask the users of those buses, who are either settlers or soldiers who have to take them, or Arab workers, on their opinion as to whether there should be separate buses or not.

I guess most Israelis and maybe most Arab workers too, would say that the idea of having separate buses is a good idea. Of course it is always good to ask the customers of anything about their opinion before deciding how to provide the service.

‘Agreed. But ask me if I would prefer to be safe or risk getting blown up by an idiot suicide bomber. That is a rhetorical question.’
