Sydenham’s count down to Shavuot

Since Pesach the children of Sydenham Hebrew Pre-Primary School have been counting the Omer and marking off the days towards Shavuot.

They have been learning about Ruth and Naomi as well as the seven species and how the Jewish people received the Torah from Hashem on Mount Sinai.

The week culminated in a visit to Yad Aharon by the grade R pupils; they spent a busy hour packing boxes of chocolates, puddings and pasta.
