Temple Israel donates blankets to Hillbrow homeless
Temple Israel Heritage Centre Hillbrow, 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, The Outreach Foundation Hillbrow, and the Mercy Church in Kensington joined forces in Kensington on 18 July to donate blankets to the homeless in Hillbrow and African migrants in Kensington.

Homeless residents helped to hand out the blankets, and shared in the tragedies and dreams of their fellow Africans, some of whom are highly qualified, but can’t get employment because of red tape and a lack of finances.
