Four wheelchairs were also donated to the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and Tygerberg Hospital Paediatric Oncology wards by Bnoth Zion WIZO Cape Town. The Gardens Shul Batmitzvah programme assembled chairs for the project. WIZO Durban and the Valley Trust donated chairs to children most urgently in need of independent mobility in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, giving them the gift of dignity and self-reliance.
