Auschwitz journey of remembrance at Theatre on the Square
Soloist Russel Lurie recently took an audience on a journey to commemorate the 75th year of remembrance and release of prisoners from Auschwitz.

The concert, in Yiddish, Hebrew, and English, was held at lunch-time at the Auto & General Theatre on the Square in Sandton on 7 February. Lurie was accompanied by pianist Evelyn Green, Peta Anne Holdcroft on cello, and Russian-trained violinist Irene Tsoniff.
