KD Victory Park celebrating Yom Yerushalayim

King David Victory Park celebrated Yom Yerushalayim last Wednesday with a special assembly for the 50th anniversary of the liberation and unification of Jerusalem.

The learners sang, danced, and spoke about the history and special significance of Jerusalem to the Jewish People.

Israel’s Deputy Ambassador to South Africa Ayellet Black, and Aviad Sela, head of the Israel Centre, were the gueat speakers.

After the assembly, a memorable photograph was taken on the Victory Park campus of all the learners, forming the shape of a heart with the words “Jerusalem 50” inside.
