Markman also reached the U12 finals at a recent Tennis South Africa (TSA) Grand Prix tournament in Nelspruit, and Sascha Hetz reached the U14 girls singles finals.
Seven other pupils did the school proud by reaching the final stages of their respective age categories at the recent TSA tournament held in Middleburg. Sascha Hetz won the U14 girls doubles; Alexa Reubenson reached the finals of the U12 singles and doubles; Jamie Kodesh won the U10 singles and the doubles with his partner, Jonah Gruskin; Dean Herskovitz reached the finals of the U10 doubles; and Shayna Joffe and Carmen Herskovitz reached the finals of the U10 girls doubles.
