Play-play, Sydenham kids ‘Built our neighbourhood’

From playschool to grade R, each Sydenham child last week spent time “Building our Neighbourhood”.
The topics discussed encompassed houses, hospitals, police stations, schools, shuls, fire stations and the many components that comprise a neighbourhood; the children watched videos that explained the concept further.
They were encouraged to explore their fine motor, planning and strategising skills.
