The Destruction of Lithuanian Jewry : 80 Years of Silence – Rūta Vanagaitė

2021 will mark 80 years since the mass murder of Lithuanian Jewry.

200 000 people- 96 percent of the Lithuanian Jewish population-were killed in 234 places. Murders were committed mostly by Lithuanians, abetted by the silent consent of the Church and indifference of the majority of my people. We remain silent about this even now.
