Yad Aharon & Michael’s Purim Wally search
This Purim, Yad Aharon & Michael dressed up as “Where’s Wally” (an illustrated character in a series of children’s puzzle books featuring detailed chaotic illustrations where the reader must locate ‘Wally’).
Yad Aharon & Michael discovered that that in the South African Jewish community, Wally doesn’t exist.
In this community, no-one remains hidden and no-one needs to be searched for. Everyone always shows up.
The organisation thanked its donors who contributed generously for Purim, shuls that promoted its Yad Haman-clapper, and schools for mishloach manot and hamantaschen.
“Thank you for ensuring that no-one ever gets lost in the crowd, and for giving our recipients a joyful, dignified, and memorable Purim,” said the organisers.
