Can SA’s Jewish community emulate Australia’s Muslims?
I recently viewed a video emanating from Australia where purportedly the Muslim communities pressure companies into submitting to Halaal certification for their products under threat of boycott by their communities.

I doubt that such a system prevails here for companies to obtain the Beth Din certification for kosher products. (Perish the thought!)
We are privileged to have a caring and thorough Beth Din. However, I understand that such certification comes at a hefty price – especially at times like these when many are battling to make ends meet.
