He plays football at Randburg Football Club and is the goalkeeper for the under-14 Academy Team. Randburg Football Club falls under the Rand Central District or LFA (Local Area Football).
Daniel was selected to go to trials along with many other players from various Rand Central clubs (Wits, Old Parks, Stars of Africa, Florida and many more). He was selected to the final squad to participate in the annual Inter-District Tournament a tournament between the various District sides of the South (SLFA), East (ELFA), North (NLFA), Pretoria (PLFA) and Central (RCLFA).
At the tournament Daniel’s under-14s went the distance and met SLFA in the finals last Sunday. When these two teams first met in the group stages, the result was 0-0. RCLFA won the final 3-1 after being down 0-1.
