JACK MILNER
David, who lives in Pretoria and is studying sports science at the University of Pretoria, also represented South Africa at the Maccabi Games in 2009. The 24-year-old has always been an avid soccer player and as an under-13 player was a member of the Pirates Academy and from the ages of 14 to 17 played for the respective Sundowns junior teams.
He then played for Berea Albion in the Vodacom League and over the last couple of years has played for Tuks.
His favourite team is Sundowns and he claims the best advice he ever received was: “Don’t swear at the refs!”
David received honorary colours in sport from Tukkies at a banquet on September 14. He will complete his sports science degree this year.
