Sandton Sinai Primary – a dream come true

Sandton Sinai Primary School was officially opened on June 1. The day was imbued with a spirit of celebrating the growth of the Sandton Jewish community.

Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein was the official guest speaker at the function and Rabbi Justin Treger, managing director of the Primary School, officially opened the school.

The rabbis of Sandton, who all shared this common dream for the community, were all present to share in the ceremony and see the realisation of their dream. 

The inaugural grade ones, were honoured with the releasing of balloons to mark this auspicious occasion. The Primary School’s principal, Melinda Chazen said: “I feel so excited and privileged to be a part of this wonderful vision of providing the Sandton community with a school which will equip pupils with an outstanding education that integrates Torah values and academic studies.”
