The SA Jewish Board of Deputies expresses its deep solidarity with the Australian Jewish community following the horrific terror attack in Sydney during a Chanukah candle-lighting ceremony.

We mourn the lives lost, pray for the injured, and condemn this vile act of antisemitic violence.

This attack is a tragic reminder that sustained antisemitic rhetoric and incitement inevitably lead to real-world violence, and must be treated with the utmost seriousness.

Governments everywhere, including our own in South Africa, have a responsibility to confront and act decisively against such hatred.

As we light our Chanukah candles, we stand with the Sydney Jewish community and reaffirm our commitment to unity, resilience, and ensuring that light prevails over darkness.

  • Karen Milner is the national chairperson of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies.

    einsatzgruppen. Moslem style.
We make a mistake. Islam is not only a religion but an ideology.(of empire statecraft and governance)(as opposed to Judaism and Christianity which emphasize internal moral codes
    and prerequisites)
There is no Islaminternat(ional) but it needs to be crushed before it’s too late. No more this gloss of the gracious and merciful religion.

I hope that moslem contributors to ISIS etc are also subject to South Africa’s mercenary legislation and ANY participation is a punishable offence (whether monetary, military or even humanitarian. Passop!
    That includes nadia/naledi pandor.
