Last call to pick your Jewish achievers

With just days to go before voting closes for the Investec Jewish Achiever Awards 2026, this is the final opportunity to recognise the people who’ve made an impact this year.

Voting closes on 29 October. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 1 November, which celebrates this year’s theme, “Le Festival des Juifs – A Tapestry of Culture”.

The awards recognise individuals who’ve excelled in business, entrepreneurship, professional fields, community service, humanitarian work, and art, sport, science, and culture. From established leaders who’ve spent decades making a difference to young achievers just beginning to make their mark, this year’s nominees reflect the breadth of talent within the South African Jewish community.

Public voting gives community members the opportunity to recognise these achievements. While the judging panel considers the nominees’ accomplishments and contributions, public votes help inform the final decisions.

Categories open for recognition include the Investec Business Leadership Award, the Eric Ellerine Entrepreneur Award, the Europcar Women in Leadership Award, and the Ichikowitz Family Foundation Rising Star Award, which celebrates individuals aged 35 and under.

The nominees have shared their journeys in individual videos, giving the public a chance to learn more about their work, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the achievements that earned them a place among this year’s nominees.

Their stories reflect not only professional success, but also the determination, resilience, and commitment to community that the awards recognise.

With the ceremony fast approaching, there’s still time to watch the videos and decide who you believe deserves recognition.
