Minnie Bersohn – Learn how to react in a hijacking

Parents from Minnie Bersohn Nursery School and King David Sandton last Sunday attended a hijack awareness, prevention and reaction course organised by Greg Sochen and run by the National Hijack Prevention Academy.

Presenter Richard Brussow has more than 20 years’ experience with the SAPS hijack units, and features regularly on television and radio shows and consults to all the major tracking companies.

The parents were taught how to recognise a potential attack, how to react, how to protect their vital organs, and most importantly, how to get their children safely out of the vehicle, among other techniques.

Everyone left the course feeling more confident and comfortable with this essential specialised knowledge.
