ChaiFM was awarded an MTN Radio Award last year for the Best Promotion Stunt/Event for Community for the Selwyn Segal Radiothon, making it the youngest (it is now in its sixth year) award-winning community radio station in SA.
A thrilled 101.9 ChaiFM’s CEO, Kathy Kaler, told Jewish Report after hearing the announcements that she is “very very proud of the team because they work hard for what they love and they do it with pride and dedication. They deserve every award.”
The station is nominated in the following categories:

- On-Air Packaging – 101.9 ChaiFM Station;
- Stunts and Promotions – Yad Aharon Radiothon; and
- Multi-Channel Promotion – 101.9 ChaiFM.
