Forget 2-state Mideast solution, embrace 3-state solution

Davidowitz’s and Romm’s stance is reasonable, thus the practical solution is a “three-state solution” with:

  1. Egypt mandates Gaza, with a United Nations mandate (like South Africa mandated South West Africa),
  2. Jordan administers some of the West Bank, starting with 17 per cent – 21 per cent,
  3. Israel, Jordan and possibly Egypt join the Commonwealth. A canal from the sea along the Jordan River with desalination will rejuvenate the region.

Details of the three-state solution are on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3 state solution). Both Egypt and Jordan are important stakeholders. Perhaps statehood will be reached after several years of administration.
