The SA Zionist Federation Isie Maisels Reference Library has not bought books for a number of years. “We now need to catch up on what we have missed and buy the important current books,” says librarian Maxine Fine.
“We are appealing to the community to help us purchase books for the library,” says Fine. Donations can be made to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, simchas and in memory of loved ones.
Donations can be made toward a specific item, into their general book fund or community members can buy a book from their list of desired books. For a list of books please contact Fine: maxine@beyachad.co.za or call her on (011) 645-2557.
Inscriptions with the donor’s name or the person in whose name the donation is made, will be placed inside books bought with all donations.
