Following the previous article that was in your paper, we wrote to the SA Jewish Report, questioning the selective quoting of the Seligson Report as to former Cape chairman Eric Marx’s “misconduct”.

Again, we would like to highlight the fact that the journalist has again selectively quoted from the Seligson Report in terms of Mr Marx’s election error, but omitted the recommendation: “We understand that the misconduct has been dealt with and there is no need for us to suggest further action be taken.”

These repeated omissions skew the findings of the report and bring into question the motives for the continued unrelenting focus on Mr Marx.

The National Executive Council of the SAJBD will meet on May 14 to elect a new treasurer and will inform the community once this democratic process has taken place.

The SA Jewish Report stands by its journalist and the story. – Editor
