Batmitzvah of kindness feeds the soul

Dina Goldberg in Grade 6 at Hirsch Lyons chose to have her entire simcha (event) at Yad Aharon, doing chesed (compassionate) work with her friends and family. The vibe was incredible as they packed foods for recipients, sang, danced, and demonstrated to the community that a chesed simcha of this nature is far more meaningful than a big, fancy affair.
