Mock weddings for some real cuties

Sandton Sinai Schools were thrilled to host a “Mock Wedding” at their school to coincide with the Chev’s Marriage Week.

The entire school participated in the simcha. Each class was allocated tasks and roles relating to the wedding. The build-up over the week was so special and the children learnt so much about the different aspects of a Jewish wedding.

All aspects of a wedding were enacted, from the beddekin to the dancing. The atmosphere was electric. The school was honoured to have Jonathan Birin play music and Jordy Rosenburg to take professional photographs.

It was a fabulous event, one which is likely to make an annual appearance on the school calendar!

Purim at Sandton Sinai

Sandton Sinai Primary School and Nursery School had a delightful Purim. Pirates and princesses, cowboys and fairies all participated in the Purim festivities. The children watched a puppet show which had a Purim theme and then jumped on the jumping castle. The kids brought mishloach manot which were distributed in the community as well as a ‘mishloach manot class swop’ which was lots of fun for all!
