The team’s record number of 51 cyclists included riders from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Israel, Australia, and the United Kingdom. They covered a remarkable 600km along the Garden Route, cycling up the Outeniqua Pass outside George, and through many majestic areas in this scenic part of the country. Their route encompassed some of South Africa’s most breathtaking vistas as it meandered along the edge of the ocean, ending in Gordon’s Bay.
As if to prove their mettle even further, many members of the team then cycled an additional 110km around the Mother City on 10 March to complete the Cape Town Cycle Tour.
