Matric mathematician to compete in China
King David High School Grade 12 pupil Noah Greenblatt will represent South Africa at the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad in China.
He is one of only six pupils chosen to represent the country at the premier mathematics competition for high school pupils.
Noah was selected after a rigorous year-long process that included intensive training camps, advanced mathematical problem-solving, challenging assignments, and multiple rounds of assessment.
His achievement is the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and a genuine passion for mathematics. His intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence have distinguished him as one of the most talented young mathematicians in South Africa.
Prior to competing at the Olympiad next month, Noah will attend an international mathematics summer camp in Beijing, where he will learn from leading mathematicians and collaborate with some of the brightest young mathematical minds from around the world. He will then join participants from more than 100 countries at the Olympiad in Shanghai.
