The programme, this year celebrating its 25th anniversary, connects families and Jewish communities from more than 40 different countries. Participants were divided into four categories: Israel, English speaking countries, Spanish speaking countries, and Russian speaking and European countries. A small group of students was selected as winners in each category from among the hundreds of works submitted, and from these the first, second, and third place will be selected. The winning works were selected by judges in the fields of education, art, and the Jewish professional world.

The students and their families will be invited to a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, 10 June, to announce the winners of the competition and to congratulate participants from all over the world.

Unfortunately, due to the restrictions on international flights and mass gatherings, the Beit Hatfutsot Museum won’t be holding a large in-person event, as has taken place in recent years. This means that the winning students won’t be awarded flight tickets to Israel. When the museum reopens, it plans to present the winning works in a virtual exhibition.
