 With the cold, wintry mornings having set in, patients queue from as early as 05:00 for their regular check-ups and medication and, by the time they are ready to receive attention from the doctors and nursing sisters, they are tired, cold and hungry. Many of them go straight from the clinic to their respective jobs, while the pupils go next door to start their classes.

The TA children visit the clinic on a fortnightly basis, alternating with other schools.
