Virtual tour of Jerusalem a highlight for KDL

Yom Yerushalayim celebrations at King David Linksfield Senior Primary began with a live walk to the Kotel with Israel-education organisation StandWithUs and a moving tekes (ceremony) with a flag procession, singing, and dancing. Other highlights of the day included a Grade 6 tour of the sites of Jerusalem, a Grade 5 Jerusalem poetry workshop, and sessions run by the DIJE (Division of Informal Jewish Education) and Lior Agiv from the South African Zionist Federation.
