Shlomo Carlebach yahrtzeit to be honoured

In honour of the 20th yahrtzeit of Shlomo Carlebach, the Sandringham Gardens Shul will hold a special Carlebach Friday night service this week on 31 October.
“Come and daven and help ‘liven’ up Kabelat Shabbat for the ‘young people’ of Sandringham Gardens” says the invitation (their emphases) SEE BELOW.
Mincha will be at 18:00 followed by Kabelat Shabbat.
The service will be conducted by Shaun Zagenoev and the Drosha by Rabbi Jonathan Fox.

‘klol ha kavod! I had the privilege of meeting Shlomo Carlebach, originally at Sandringham Gardens, where I worked with the elderly, many years ago, I subsequently went on a holiday to Israel (also many years ago) and went to his Moshav, where I met his whole family, resulting in us becoming very close friends, which lasted until the day he died. He indeed was an inspiration and had lots and lots of love in his heart. I have all his music which I love listening to.
