She completed her studies and articles and began a new career. She now lectures and gives motivational talks to business groups and stressed entrepreneurs.

Seigel recently published a book entitled “Seven Tried and Tested Triangles” which offers great insights. “I’ve used them both in my personal life and in coaching many individuals, teams and businesses,” she says.

Seigel gets about on her motorised wheelchair, which she calls “my Harley” and her adapted car.

Her sense of humour, tenacity and courage and her positivity even in extremely adverse times is underpinned by her belief in Hashem.

She holds a masters degree in business leadership from Unisa’s Graduate School of Business. “My thesis was on brand symbolism of the Proudly SA brand and individual and community values and SA national culture,” she explains.

Her work experience includes branding, communication, consulting, marketing, training and auditing. She has worked in varied business environments in retail and service industries.

As a business and motivational speaker, she provides sessions and workshops on “Seven Tried and Tested Triangles”.

The indomitable Seigel is hard at work on her second book which deals with research on brain plasticity.

She has coined a new word: “creality” which she says describes understanding reality and working creatively round it.
